SIDEV is overseeing a major residential development project in Mirabel. The project is located in a sector, whose demographic growth has been steady, close to Highway 15, to the north of the Domaine Vert Park and the des Quatre Domaines golf club.
 
 Called “Domaine Vert”, this project will involve several housing unit phases. In 2006, the phases “Les Habitations du Domaine Vaudreuil” (158 units) and “Kayak” (34 units) should be completed, while the phase “Les Habitations du Domaine, the Prestige Sector” (114 units) will be starting.
 
 Initially, this area measured 40 million square feet of land. Today, there are now some 20 million square feet that remain to be developed. Whereas the construction of new homes has escalated robustly over the past three years, this development project will be spread out over the next fifteen years.
