About 400 de Maisonneuve Blvd. West
400 de Maisonneuve Blvd. West
Located at the corner of Bleury Street and de Maisonneuve Blvd. West, the building is historically known as the Gordon Brown Building and was a commercial centre for the fur industry until its pioneering redevelopment in 2005. Indeed, SIDEV was one of the first to dare to redevelop a downtown industrial building into loft-style spaces. Significant indoor and outdoor renovations, including a complete overhaul of the building envelope, were done by Béïque Legault Thuot, a trio of prominent architects. Their work earned the building a Heritage award in 2006 from Opération Patrimoine de Montréal, in the Office and Industrial category. Today, 400 de Maisonneuve West is looking to the future, with tenants including Eidos and a long list of governmental, institutional and professional organizations who showed their trust in SIDEV. Tenants benefit from the café and daycare located in the mezzanine.
